On behalf of the Parish Council of Blindcrake, Welcome! Our Parish, which lies at the Northwestern limit of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, comprises the village of Blindcrake, the hamlets of Redmain and Sunderland, and Isel. This website provides details of the activities of the Parish Council, local events and general information.

All events are held in Blindcrake Village Hall unless otherwise stated. The cost of hiring the village hall meeting room is £7 per hour. 1st Jun 2013		The Big Lunch - the annual Village picnic on the Green (or Hall if wet!). More details soon.
3rd Jun 2013	10.30	Ladies Coffee Get-Together at the Great Escape Café, Moota
8th Jun 2013	19.30	Piping Hot Concert in Isel Church. A musical variety with proceeds going to the Church Bells Restoration Fund. Tickets (inc. refreshments) £4.50/adult, £2/primary-age child, available from Billy Bowman or at the door. All welcome!
11th Jun 2013	18.00	Rededication of the Church Bells at Isel Church. A special evening service led by the Bishop of Carlisle to welcome back our refurbished bells - wine and nibbles afterwards.
22nd Jun 2013	10.00	Churchyard Boon Day at Isel Church. Mainly invovling grass raking and general tidying, all help would be much appreciated.
22nd Jun 2013	14.00	"Messy Church" day in Isel Church. Theme is bells and related subjects and finishes with tea and cakes. Children should be accompanied.
30th Jun 2013	10.30-16.30	Blindcrake Garden Safari, Arts Trail and Classic Cars. £5 entry from the Village Hall starting point gives entry to all venues (including C-Art previews) and free village transport (hail-and-ride minibus). Home-baked refreshments throughout the day at the Village Hall.
13th Jul 2013	14.00-16.00	Blindcrake Children's Committee - Annual Sports Day on the Village Green.
7th Sep 2013	10.00	Blindcrake Children's Committee - Village Outing. More details soon.
26th Oct 2013	16.00-17.30	Blindcrake Children's Committee - Children's Halloween Party.
15th Dec 2013	16.00-17.30	Blindcrake Children's Committee - Children's Christmas Party.
