Our Parish, which lies at the Northwestern limit of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, comprises the village of Blindcrake, the hamlets of Redmain and Sunderland, and Isel. This website provides details of the activities of the Parish Council, local events and general information.

All events are held in Blindcrake Village Hall unless otherwise stated. The cost of hiring the village hall is £7 per hour. 6th May 2015 19.00 - 20.00 Fitness Class Taster Evening. Blow away those pre-election blues and all for just £1. Fully qualified instructor - Fleur. More info on the night, or contact Rachel Mossop.
7th May 2015 07.00-22.00 Election Day - polling station open.
18th May 2015 19.30 Parish Council Meeting. All parishioners are welcome to attend; appropriate matters may be raised at the beginning of the meeting.
28th Jun 2015 10.30-16.30 Blindcrake Parish Garden Safari, Arts Trail, and Classic Vehicles.  (Event is in aid of Village Hall funds.)  Starting point:  Blindcrake Village Hall.  More information to follow.
12th Sep 2015 20.00-23.00 The Evening Inn  Evening Inn Village Pub. Back again after the summer break. A great opportunity to enjoy good craic, fine craft beers and the ever-popular pub quiz.
