On behalf of the Parish Council of Blindcrake, Welcome! Our Parish, which lies at the Northwestern limit of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, comprises the village of Blindcrake, the hamlets of Redmain and Sunderland, and Isel. This website provides details of the activities of the Parish Council, local events and general information.

All events are held in Blindcrake Village Hall unless otherwise stated. The cost of hiring the village hall is £7 per hour for the small meeting room and £8 per hour for the main hall or for both rooms. St Michael's Church in Isel is severely devastated by the Derwent flooding - as is Isel Bridge House (see gallery photos). For the forseeable future all church services will take place in Blindcrake Village Hall. 
19.00 - 20.00 Fitness Class Evening. ON HOLD TEMPORARILY. Fleur (07792 003846) has had to cancel the restart of the class in January until further notice, due to a recent happy event! Watch this space for the new start date.
1st Feb 2016 19.00 Church Council (PCC) Meeting. In Blindcrake Village Hall.
6th Feb 2016 12.00-14.00 Soup and Puddings for all. £5 (£2.50under 12s).
7th Feb 2016 11.00 Holy Communion Service - due to the flood damage at Isel Church, the service will be held in Blindcrake Village Hall.
13th Feb 2016 20.00-23.00 The Evening Inn  Evening Inn Village Pub. Come along and enjoy good craic, fine craft beers and the ever-popular pub quiz and relax with friends and neighbours.
17th Feb 2016 19.00 First Responders Meeting and AGM. Everyone is welcome to come along.
28th Feb 2016 09.30 Morning Prayer Service (followed by coffee). In Blindcrake Village Hall.
14th Mar 2016 19.30 Parish Council Meeting. All parishioners are welcome to attend; appropriate matters may be raised at the beginning of the meeting.
4th Apr 2016 19.00 Church Council (PCC) meeting and AGM. In Blindcrake Village Hall.
